Gemini US cryptocurrency exchange platform now allows its users to purchase cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC) using Apple Pay and Google Pay.

According to Thursday’s announcement, Gemini users can now connect their debit cards to Apple Pay or Google Pay to buy cryptocurrencies using the fiat system on the platform. The company indicated that user funds will be available for withdrawal one hour after completing the purchase.

The new feature is available for more than 30 cryptocurrencies with Gemini support, including major currencies such as BTC, Ether (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and Bitcoin Cash (BCH), as well as Ethereum-based tokens such as AAVE, DAI, and Maker’s MKR.

Gemini has not reported commission for purchasing the cryptocurrency via Apple Pay or Google Pay. The platform takes 3.49% of the total purchase from deposits made via debit card transfers, while bank transfers and cryptocurrency deposits are free.

The cryptocurrency industry has expanded in recent months with increased integration with traditional financial payment services such as Apple Pay. In February, the major cryptocurrency payment processor BitPay announced a major integration of Apple Pay, allowing users to connect to the Apple Wallet and pay for goods and services in digital currencies such as BTC, ETH and LTC. Cryptocurrency company Simplex also allowed Apple Pay users to purchase COTI cryptocurrency in March.
