Dash Core Group, the organization responsible for developing the privacy-focused DASH token, announced new changes to the Proof of Stake network on 30 September.
“Dash Core v0.16.0.1 binaries have been released and are ready to be published online by contract operators,” said Medium from Basta, one of the developers of the Dash Core group. “This is a major release and is a must-have update for all miners and master nodes.”
The online update improves the DASH ecosystem in several ways, including ways to validate the master node software, improve the wallet user interface, and enhance anonymization features when using PrivateSend, a non-project-related option.
The announcement says that the update also includes a “redistribution of group bonuses to improve the Dash economy by adjusting the bonus percentage.”
On September 18, Dash announced another change, a platform that called for the use of a decentralized cloud to store blockchain information, based on concepts mentioned in the Dash Evolution movement. Dash Evolution was launched five years ago and aims to make it easier for participants to use their cryptocurrencies. The September 30 Dash updates also come from the ideals of Dash Evolution.
In August last year, Dash issued the first debit card for digital assets available in Latin America.
