As the world struggles to recover from the damage from the coronavirus pandemic, a major cryptocurrency event in Switzerland is preparing to return to physical coordination.
Morpt, Crypto Finance Conference (CfC) St. Moritz, an international cryptocurrency event in St. Moritz, will take place from January 20-22, 2021 and will bring together speakers from major companies and institutions such as Winklevoss Capital, Swiss National Bank, European Parliament, Ledger and others. The upcoming conference is the fourth annual iteration of CfC St. Moritz and will differ from previous events – the conference will prioritize participants’ health and safety through a comprehensive COVID-19 strategy.
Describes the strategy available at CfC St. Moritz offers a wide range of preventative and safety measures in place, such as mandatory face masks, strict cleaning and disinfection rules, and social distancing rules. The strategy also limits capacity to 250 people and requires guests to use the SwissCovid app to track contacts and symptoms.
According to CfC St. Moritz, these measures are in line with the requirements of the Swiss Federal Office of Health. CfC St. Moritz Nicolo Stoer: “Physical meetings and personal exchanges are more important than ever and will be possible with strict hygiene practices.”
At CfC, St. Moritz 2021 says preparations for the conference are “well underway”.
“The challenges posed by COVID-19 require more effort, and we, as regulators, will be pleased with these challenges. We believe that a unique experience at CfC St. Moritz is impossible without physical interaction and personal exchange – it is even more demanding, especially if appropriate measures are taken,” The message says.
Among the confirmed speakers at CfC St. Moritz 2021 – Major industry figures such as CoinShares CSO Meltem Demirors and Morgan Creek Digital Co-founder Anthony Pomplano. The event will also be attended by European Parliamentarians Eva Kylie and Thomas Moser, deputy board member of the Swiss National Bank. Other speakers include Pascal Gaultier, CEO of Ledger, Winklevoss Capital Jane Lippencott and Philippe Behazi of XBTO.
The Applications Conference will host a series of keynote speakers and panel discussions on important industry topics such as regulation of cryptocurrencies, central bank digital currencies, stablecoins and investment strategies in crypto. The event will also be available online.

CfC St. Moritz 2021 will be one of the first global cryptocurrency events with physical collisions after most 2020 events have either been launched online or have been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
